We will be throwing open the doors at the Royal Observatory on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September as part of Doors Open Days across Edinburgh.
We're busy recruiting an army of volunteers and setting up exciting talks, activities, crafts and tours for everyone to enjoy on site. An opportunity to meet astronomers, engineers, scientists, technicians and researchers to hear more about the work of the UK ATC, the University of Edinburgh's Institute for Astronomy and the Higgs Centre for Innovation.
We'll be showcasing cutting edge astronomy projects like the James Webb Space Telescope, Euclid, MOONS, SKAO, Gaia, the Extremely Large Telescope and more.
We hope you can join us!
