What we do at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre

We create the instruments and technology that help scientists explore the Universe. From cameras and spectrometers to software and full telescope systems, our projects support major ground and space‑based observatories around the world, working with partners such as NASA, the European Space Agency and the European Southern Observatory, to make new discoveries possible.
